I met Rachel almost a decade ago when I photographed her covered in Holi powder at a local park (like one does). All of these years later, I got to photograph her again on her wedding day at the amazing Domaine Madeleine in Port Angeles.
The day was cool and casual, with classy twists around every corner.
They got married outdoors in a massive wildflower garden surrounded by their dearest family and friends. They served pizza and tea out of Rachel's mom's china. They didn't have a caterer or a DJ and went the small party DIY route for everything.
At the end of the evening, we ran off to get some shots among the wildflowers and the golden fields. I would usually avoid potentially getting a wedding dress dirty, but these two were adventurous enough to want to lay in the fields together.
It was an unforgettable day and I'm beyond grateful for the chance to capture it.
