Bruno and I schemed for months to come up with a game plan for his proposal, which came with a series of challenges. He wanted it to be a complete surprise at Mount Rainier, so everything had to be planned down to the smallest detail.
Amazingly, it went off without a hitch -- and Kathy was genuinely surprised! It was such a sincere, blissful moment (and Mount Rainier made an appearance in the background).
We later took some portraits around the park just as the sun was setting. It turned out to be just the perfect plan. My soul was fed this day.
