Marissa and David met when they were fifteen and sixteen years old. Seven years and a cross-country move later, I met up with the two of them at Asahel Curtis on a soggy, chilly day. Fighting off the rain, we wandered the forested trails, giggling and hanging out in trees (like one does). I kept remarking on how naturally affectionate and easy the two of them were in front of the camera, which took absolutely no prompting on my part. After, we retreated to one of their favorite coffee shop in Snoqualmie and then photographed with the train cars.
Spending a day playing in the woods with beautiful, creative people? Yes. So much yes.
